The 13 drop down menus embedded across the top of the interface of TheLaw.net Pro Legal Browser are represented by a single file that resides on your hard disk; usually called your "C Drive."

This proprietary menu system, which we refer to as TheLaw.net Linkbar, provides super fast, detailed access to more than 80,000 web based documents and databases. The Linkbar, by definition, is a perpetual work in progress. We use the Linkbar menus to track both the evolution of the law and the public web. We are constantly adding new resources, washing out old resources and updating paths to existing resources.

This is an amazing resource and a remarkable productivity tool that works hand-in-glove with our proprietary searchable case law database; providing you with a low cost legal research SYSTEM with a national scope.

To receive the full benefit of TheLaw.net's Linkbar, it should always be running the latest Linkbar version available. We recently developed a separate piece of software to automate the business of monitoring our systems for newly released versions of TheLaw.net Linkbar.

When this application sees that a new file is available it will automatically begin the download or ask you whether you want to update your menus now or later.
