Maintaining
the directory of resources that are included in
TheLaw.net LinkBar has a distinct "herding
cats" flavor to it.
Every week our staff repairs broken links, adds
new resources and deletes out-moded resources. When we began actively marketing TheLaw.net
Software on August 1, 2000, the directory contained
40,000 items and we thought that was a lot. Today
it includes more than 80,000 entries making it the
largest, most-detailed front-end to publicly
available web-based legal research and reference
documents available anywhere.
TheLaw.net LinkBar
consists of thirteen menus that are represented by a
single file that resides on your computer.
Every Saturday morning Pacific Time, we upload a
new version of the LinkBar that reflects the aggregate
of our efforts to date.
The LinkBar is represented on your computer by a
single file that is automatically updated.
